A woman in a rented room at a KL condo recently said that her male housemate invaded her bedroom when she was asleep, but that was not all.

She also accused the man of kissing her and touching her breasts and private parts in the dark.

In a Facebook post, the woman shared about how she called her boyfriend after she woke up and realised her housemate was hugging her. She then got out of bed and turned on the lights to see who had entered her room without her consent. The male housemate proceeded to run out of the woman’s room and then texted her to “explain” the situation.

According to her police report, the matter happened on May 29, and after leaving her room, the housemate texted and asked to resolve the issue, insisting that he had no intention to invade her room.

“I’m so sorry, I had entered the wrong room,” the man told her via WhatsApp.

Screenshots of the conversation were also shared online by the woman. The woman, however, did not respond to his plea to talk and simply told him that she would place his glasses outside her bedroom and wait for her boyfriend to arrive.

The man then apologised, acknowledging that it was his fault and did not wish for other housemates to know about the matter.

“Can we talk about it, please? I just want to clear things up, that’s all. I get that you are mad about it, so I just want to clear up this matter between us.”

The woman also shared that before the invasion, the housemate often tried to invite her out for a drink, to which she said, “She is seeing someone right now.”

The police report was lodged at the Jalan Tun Razak Police Station in Wangsa Maju, KL, and the said housemate was told to leave the house. Despite the absence of the man today, the woman said it has not helped in easing her trauma, and she was also concerned about the man’s possible next victim.

In a report by China Press, Cheras District Police Chief Assistant Commissioner Aidil Bolhassan confirmed that a report about the matter had been lodged. The case has been handed over to the Kuala Lumpur Sexual Crime, Child Abuse and Domestic Violence Investigation Team (D11) for investigation.
