EPF Expedites i-Citra, Members To Receive First Payment Starting 2 August 2021

The Employees Provident Fund (EPF) has recently announced that i-Citra payments will be expedited. Eligible members that have had their application for the scheme approved will receive payments in stages starting from 2 August 2021.

Furthermore, according to EPF’s official Twitter account, members that still have pending i-Sinar payment for August 2021 will have the payments expedited to the 26th or 27th July 2021.

“i-Citra payments will be disbursed beginning 2nd August 2021.”

“The first payment will be credited to respective member’s bank accounts within 1-3 working days.”

The i-Citra withdrawal, which was introduced following the announcement of the “Pakej Perlindungan Rakyat dan Pemulihan Ekonomi” (Pemulih) by Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin on 28th June 2021, will see approved withdrawal amount paid for five months with a fixed monthly payment of RM1,000 per month, subject to available savings balance.
