Having said that, before trading in your Huawei phone at any of their experience stores, here are some things you need to know:

  1. Back up all your data that’s in the phone.
  2. Remove your SIM and SD cards before you trade in your phone.
  3. After that, their staff will run a quick check on your phone’s physical condition when you bring it to their stores.
  4. Then, a diagnostic app will be installed to test out your phone’s functions – like the speakers, camera, charging function and etc.
  5. Once the functions are tested, the app will display the trade-in value of your phone. Huawei said that Ingram Micro has sole discretion in determining the trade-in value.
  6. Once the trade-in amount is decided, their staff will print a non-cash voucher that can be only used to buy the Huawei P30 Series.

So easy, right?

Nevertheless, do keep in mind that the value posted on its website is only for devices in excellent condition. Not to forget, the trade-in-device must also be labelled with the MCMC label to show that it is certified for use in Malaysia. Take note, guys!

The “Level Up Programme”, organised by Ingram Micro Malaysia Sdn Bhd, only permits customers to trade in their devices once.

FYI, there are three different models in this series (P30) and their prices are listed below:

  • P30 with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage: RM2,699
  • P30 Pro with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage: RM3,799
  • P30 Pro with 8GB RAM and 512GB storage: RM4,399

There are three different colours for you to choose from if you’re planning to get the P30 and P30 pro with 256GB storage, which is Aurora, Breathing Crystal and Black. As for P30 Pro 512GB storage, it only comes in the Aurora colour.

For those who want to trade in their old Huawei mobiles, you can visit a Huawei Experience Store when the P30 range is made available on April 6 (Saturday)! Who else is excited?!
