Recent video footage from a dashcam has been circulating online sparking a wave of confusion and curiosity among netizens, leaving many wondering about the circumstances surrounding the unusual sight.
The driver shared the video on his X account, showcasing the bizarre moment he encountered a motorcycle on the highway that appeared to be driving itself, with no rider in sight.
The invisible rider
In the video, the driver was casually cruising down Federal Highway when he almost got into an accident with the motorcycle as it glided into his lane, prompting him to honk.
To his surprise, he realised the motorcycle was moving by itself, seemingly swerving back to its lane right after he honked, leaving the driver even more confused by the weird situation.
A passenger in the car can also be heard in the video, questioning if the rider of the motorcycle had fallen off, adding to the confusion.
To answer the question, if you take a closer look at the video, you can actually see that the motorcycle did have an owner, who was involved in a collision with another motorcycle behind her.
In the thread, the driver shared his relief after the motorcycle swerved out of his lane, noting that if it had remained in his path, a collision would have been unavoidable.
