In case you forgot, we’re currently facing a third wave of Covid-19 with high cases being reported almost everyday. Needless to say, Malaysians are pissed at the government and our politicians as they feel like this situation is not being handled properly with the most breaking announcements being made at the very last minute.
Amongst this, the Ministry of Finance decided it was nice to launch a new LOGO for the 2021 Budget that is set to happen on 6 November. In a tweet yesterday, Finance Minister, Tengku Zafrul, tweeted the logo and how it represented the Jalur Gemilang and batik patterns.

While there’s nothing wrong in launching a logo, but perhaps the timing could’ve been better. Needless to say, Malaysians chimed in with their comments regarding the logo and how they feel that of all the problems the Finance Ministry could be helping with, is the logo really their top priority?
“There’s no enough PPE in our prisons until KKM has to ask donations from the public and MOF decides to release the budget logo. This is super helpful (*heavy sarcasm detected*)”
