A Malaysian husband has opened up anonymously, sharing his heartbreak after discovering his wife’s infidelity.
Ryan (pseudonym) recalled the moment he found out about her affair, which came to light after she mentioned experiencing health symptoms, including pain, itching, a burning sensation, and an unusual discharge.

According to the post, Ryan’s wife, who works at a bank, often describes her office as her “second home.”
“I work from home full-time, so my schedule is pretty flexible. I take care of the kids, handle the housework, and life has always been simple and stable.
“My wife works at a local bank, and she’s known her colleagues for years. She often says the office feels like a ‘second home.’ I always thought this was what a calm, steady marriage looked like. Until one day, everything suddenly fell apart,” he wrote.

Ryan further explained that they only decided to see a doctor after her symptoms became unbearable.
“She started telling me she wasn’t feeling well. There was pain, itching, a burning sensation, and unusual discharge. I urged her to see a doctor as soon as possible. But the day she came home with the medical report, I knew something was seriously wrong.
“Her hands were shaking, her voice was barely a whisper. I asked to see the report. At that moment, my mind went completely blank.”
“I didn’t know what was left of this marriage”
Ryan’s wife later admitted to having an affair with one of her colleagues, someone Ryan had actually met before.
“She said he was just a colleague at the bank. The same person I had met before, the one she once claimed she was ‘just having meals and chatting with.’ I never imagined that what she called occasional social gatherings were really about him.
“Beyond the pain of betrayal, I didn’t know how to face our child. That day, I sat alone in the living room, staring at the report, my hands shaking uncontrollably. I didn’t know if I was even processing it. I didn’t know what was left of this marriage.”

Ryan also shared how he couldn’t feel at ease, uncertain if he was even a “healthy father,” which prompted him to go for a check-up himself.
“I don’t know how long this has been going on. At the check-up, the nurse asked routine questions about my situation. I froze, because I knew I had never crossed any boundaries. Yet, because of my partner’s choices, I was forced into that position.”

He went on to describe the mix of humiliation and anger he felt, admitting that he never imagined there would come a day when he would “be afraid of my own body”.
“I’m scared that my child’s future environment will be permanently affected, and that this marriage may end up being nothing more than an empty shell. As for whether it should continue, I honestly don’t know.
“People often say marriage is about two people facing life’s challenges together. But when trust is shattered, and harm is brought back into the home, this so-called ‘challenge’ is no longer just difficult, it’s completely devastating,” he concluded.
