When eating at this Johor Bharu restaurant, this customer shared a video of how his meals were below par and had glaring hygiene issues.
In his video, he shared how the owner refused to acknowledge his restaurant’s mistake and tried to shrug it off.
“This is how things went down. The food we ate was infested with maggots,” they shared.
“The owner said that the food with maggots was free. He mentioned to me that maggots in the kailan were common.”
They added, “Sometimes we wash it clean, and sometimes we don’t.”
“How can a restaurant operate like this?”
Taking to the comments section, this is what one previous visitor of the restaurant had to say.
“This restaurant is near my workplace. It is problematic. Once some reported a case of sexual harassment.”
Another commented, “If it were small caterpillars, it would mean that veggies were not cleaned well…but this is maggots.”
