In this day and age, artists have to do much more than just make good music to be noticed, especially local artists.

A netizen, known as David recently took to the Facebook group, Seremban, to share his admiration for a couple of creative artists he spotted who took to the streets of KL and Seremban to promote their new music.
The artists were captured wearing and holding up signs that said, “Honk if you want to listen to our song!” as they paced along the busy streets of the city while trying to attract the attention of pedestrians and road users.
According to the signs that they were wearing, the musical duo is known as Mercury Madness and their new single, “Fear In Our Eyes”, is available for streaming on Spotify, Apple Music, Youtube, and Tidal.
“Everyone MUST see this. Mindset is what separates the best from the rest. This is how far people can go for something they love doing,” penned David in his post.
“Looking at this, it only explains why Art is so underrated in our country. Malaysia can do better. We must let the world know.”
The netizen added how the creative efforts of these local musicians speak volumes about their dedication to music and art. “This pandemic has exposed different people to the world and this is the good part of it,” David said that he had to stop his car by the roadside and type out the post immediately after he saw these local musicians because he wanted everyone to know about the commitment these artists have to their craft.
“How many people would stoop to this level? No products sold. They only want us to listen to their song!”
