A Singaporean food delivery rider recently warmed the hearts of netizens for his honesty and kindness after he made a second trip to a customer’s house just to return the change for her purchase. Moreover, the man even bought chocolates for the customer’s children and refused to take any tips from her.

As shared by the customer, Siti Nurfatin Atin on the Facebook group ‘Complaint Singapore‘, she revealed that the man, a food delivery rider had delivered her order from Regal McDonald’s to her home in Lengkok Bahru at midnight yesterday (March 17). Siti paid in cash, but the rider didn’t have any change for her.

The man then promised the woman that he will bring back her change after sending his second order for the night. Siti then agreed and they exchanged phone numbers, but the man never revealed his name to her.

While she was having supper with her children, Siti shared that the rider eventually came back with her change for the order. Not only that, but the man even brought chocolates for her children. In the Facebook post, Siti asserted,

“And while I’m still having my supper with the kids, I heard a soft knock on the door.. The rider is back with my change!!.. And he even bought chocolates for my kids!!! THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!”

This is the kind of rider we need… honest rider… As it is really hard to trust people nowadays… But this rider did a good job! If he is reading this… again, thank you & God bless,” she wrote.

Moreover, as reported by Yahoo! News, Siti asserted that she offered a tip to the rider via Singapore’s PayNow application but the man rejected it. Instead, he asked Siti “to tip others who are in need”.

What an honest and wholesome man! We hope that the unnamed delivery rider finds success in his future endeavors.
