A father’s love knows no bounds, but what happens when his family members commit crimes?
Farah Kartini’s murder suspect, a 26-year-old PDRM officer was detained by the police and will be remanded for 7 days. According to the suspect’s father, his son managed to call him to apologise for what he had done.
“Maybe he knew that the matter was going to cause trouble to the family.”
According to his father, his son came home last Wednesday (July 10) to see his wife and 8-month-old infant. The father, however, noticed that his son was quiet and unhappy, although the latter did not say anything, reported Kosmo and Sinar Harian.
The father also said that he didn’t know much about the connection between his son and the late Farah Kartini, but his daughter-in-law did spill some tea about the matter.
“My daughter-in-law told me that Farah threatened her and my son, and they even lodged a report about the matter with some evidence.”
He added,
“I also just found out that my son gave Farah an opportunity to make some money by allowing her to handle his car rental business. He even gave her the car keys.”
The damage, however, has been done and is irreversible. The father accepts his fate and understands that the fault lies in his son for taking matters into his own hands. Despite the tragedy, the father still acknowledged his son’s kindness.
“He’s a good and responsible son. He’s also the hope of the family. Whatever it is, if this is my fate, I accept it.”
Earlier, Farah Kartini, a student from UPSI was reported missing after passing a rental car to a customer. Days later, her decomposing body was found in Hulu Selangor.
PDRM also urged everyone not to come up with any speculations while they investigate the matter.
