Do you have Katsaridaphobia? For those who may not know, that’s the fear of cockroaches!
If you do have Katsaridaphobia, you’ll understand the struggle of seeing a cockroach in your house, running to grab the bug spray only to return to it missing, lurking somewhere in your house, ready to pounce at you at any moment. Good luck going to sleep after that.
UtusanTV took to their TikTok account to showcase the internet’s method towards easily trapping a cockroach and yeah, this tactic is kind of a more aggressive version of Caucasian parents throwing cheese slices at their babies.
UtusanTV wrote, “The wet tissue technique, your aim has to be exactly right.”
In the video, a cockroach could be seen chilling on a wall. The person recording it then threw a very wet tissue at it like wham bam thank you ma’am, causing the cockroach to be trapped within the wet tissue like it’s been plastered to the wall.
This method seems very effective at preventing the cockroach from running away.
Now, you can either kill it with bug spray without the fear that it might go missing, or you could keep it as a pet (whatever floats your boat).
