As 2023 comes to an end, the Ministry of Transport and local councils will give out discounts on summons to encourage the general public to pay their dues.

So, here’s a reminder that it’s already that time of the year!

Back in August, the Subang Jaya City Council (MBSJ) held their full board meeting where Subang Jaya Mayor Mohd Fauzi Mohd Yatim announced that they will be running a flat rate discount for selected parking and traffic summons starting October until the end of December, whereby you only need to pay RM10.

“In conjunction with MBSJ’s 3rd anniversary of obtaining city status on 20 October, we will be having an RM10 flat rate offer for selected parking and traffic compounds. This will be available for 3 months, from 1 October to 31 December,”

“The payment for these compounds will be done through apps and via online platforms such as the Smart Selangor app,” he said.

But, this offer does not apply to the towing of vehicles, the use of differently-abled (OKU) parking spaces, abandoned vehicles, the obstruction of heavy vehicles and more.

You can check out MBSJ’s full board meeting here.

So, don’t forget to pay off your summons while it’s only at RM10!
