In a recent tragic news, a Form 1 female student from Kuen Cheng Secondary School passed away after posting a farewell video on social media and tragically falling to her death from the 8th floor of the school building.
“I love you all, I just want to say goodbye”
In the live video, the student expressed her thanks and appreciation for her friends who were always there for her. The incident happened around 6 PM on October 1.
Tragically, due to the severity of her injuries, she was pronounced dead at the scene, despite the medical team’s best efforts to save her life.
“A dad’s heart can also experience moments of vulnerability”
Following the tragic loss, the grieving dad poured out his emotions in a heartbreaking Facebook post, which has left everyone in tears.
In the post, he shared that he had been experiencing sleepless nights over the past few days, struggling to come to terms with the reality of her passing.
He wrote,
“I know you went through a lot of tough times out there, but it’s alright, please come back. Come home. Daddy, Mommy, your sister, brother, and little sister are all waiting for you. Have you forgotten about us?”
“I love you, please forgive me”
He shared his deep regrets about coming to understand the importance of openly expressing love and affection only after the heartbreaking loss of his daughter.
“If you were struggling, why didn’t you reach out? Why did you have to learn this from Daddy? Daddy was wrong! I’m so sorry! I love you! Please forgive me!”
He went on to share how his daughter chose to bottle up all her pain instead of confiding in her family, who loved her dearly, and this choice has left him shattered.
“Daddy and Mommy forgive you and love you so much! We’ll make sure to repay the love we owe you in our next life. Thank you for sharing 13 wonderful years of memories with us!”
We’re deeply saddened by the news, and our thoughts and prayers are with the family during this incredibly challenging time.
