Sometimes, we really must count our blessings.

One disabled man has been selling nasi lemak near the Cheras LRT station despite the fact that he doesn’t have arms.

Shahrin Razi took to a Facebook group to showcase the hardworking man and to commend his efforts.

He wrote,

“This great human being endures test after test to make a living without both of his arms. But, he still smiles, let the pictures tell the story. Let’s buy and let’s support Dekk’s Mat. Location: Near the 7 Eleven at the Cheras LRT station.”

Despite being faced with challenges that are harder than most, he is willing to work hard to make a living for himself and doesn’t allow his hardships to weigh him down.

For those who are interested in buying nasi lemak from him, you can find him in front of the Kedai Kek LRT Cheras, or you can check out his Facebook page.

Thank you, Dekk’s Mat, for teaching us that no matter what is thrown at us, hard work, perseverance and optimism will prevail.

What do you think about this? Let us know in the comment section.
