The new government and its respective ministers have appeared to hit the ground running by working hard to resolve a number of long standing problems.
Recently, new Youth and Sports Minister Hannah Yeoh was praised for her initiatives and quick actions to improve the Malaysian sports scene and a number of facilities.
Yeoh recently took to Twitter to share the news that our national stadium has been equipped with a brand new canvas to cover the surface of the field during the rain.
In her post, she said that the canvas will be used to cover the surface of the field of the Bukit Jalil National Stadium during rain.
She mentioned that her ministry will always be committed to improving facilities.
She also went on to thank the Crown Prince of Johor, HRH Major General Tunku Ismail ibni Sultan Ibrahim for loaning the previous canvas as well as the volunteers who helped to install the new canvas.
Efficient and transparent!
Her post has been extremely well received by netizens who praised the minister for her prompt actions.
“An example of a minister who knows what they are doing. Less of the politicking when appointed. Focused on the job.”
“This is why people are afraid of DAP. Efficient and transparent. Well done YB,” commented another user.
Another tagged former Sports Minister Datuk Seri Ahmad Faizal’s account and said, “She has only been the minister for a month but she’s already doing work.”
Kudos to Yeoh and her team for quickly resolving longstanding issues! We hope to see more to come.
