Are you stuck wandering the ‘Boulevard of Broken Dreams’? Do you need a ‘Holiday’?

Well, don’t become a ‘Basket Case’ about it because Green Day will be coming to Malaysia for the first time ever!

The American rock band really said ‘When I Come Around’, because they just took to their Instagram page to make every 90’s kid’s dream come true by announcing their first-ever concert in Kuala Lumpur, which will take place at the National Hockey Stadium on Tuesday (February 18, 2025), at 8pm.

They wrote, “Malaysia, there’s a first time for everything!! We’re fired up to play on February 18 at the National Hockey Stadium in Kuala Lumpur! Tickets will be on sale on September 27 at 11am local time.”

‘Good Riddance’ to the wait, it’s finally over!

Here are the details for the ticket sales!

According to Live Nation Malaysia, ticket sales will begin in September. Details below:

  • Mastercard Presale (September 24-26, Tues-Thurs): From 10am on Tuesday (Sept 24) to 10am on Thursday (Sept 26). You can find out more here.
  • Live Nation Presale (September 26, Thurs): From 12pm to 11:59pm. To access the exclusive presale, you must register for a FREE Live Nation membership here.
  • General sales (September 27, Fri): From 11am onwards, here.

Green Day has no idea how long Malaysians have been ‘Waiting’ for them to come rock out on our shores!

We’re going to take a nap, ‘Wake Me Up When September Ends’ please, so that we can buy our tickets.
