However, Pilaslak Puenchoke, a 20-year-old university student actually gifted her boyfriend a huge bouquet of flowers, but with a twist. The bouquet was actually made out of money!
Based on a Facebook post, the Thai girl had given him a bouquet of flowers made out of THB500 (RM62) bills, which amounted to a cool THB100,000 (RM12,420) in cash for his birthday just recently. That’s a lot of money! The post went viral on social media as many male netizens tagged their partners, dropping a not-so-subtle hint.

Apparently, Pilaslak had earned all the money from selling cosmetics online and had given him the present for both his birthday and Valentine’s Day. Still a lot of money! The lucky man, “Tua” was pleasantly shocked by her grand gesture as it was totally unexpected.
Pilaslak told Coconuts that she got the idea when she saw an Instagram post for money bouquets online. “The bouquet was his birthday and Valentine’s gift in one. He’d want men’s stuff, and I don’t know what to pick out for him. I saw the idea [of a money bouquet] on Instagram and wanted him to have it,” she said.

When she saw the post, she decided to commission a floral shop to make the bouquet where she paid THB104,000 (RM12,921). Tua, her boyfriend of one year, was overjoyed with the present and Pilaslak said that “He was happy and said he didn’t expect something like this. He said he’d be happy with just a birthday cake from me”.
