It seems that even fruits that are growing wild on the trees outside our houses aren’t safe from theft these days. A recent post from a netizen has gone viral on social media after she caught two men stealing mangoes from the tree outside her house in Taman Wahyu.

“This is not the first time that this has happened. They not only stole the mangoes from our tree but when I scolded them, one of the thieves even threatened me and said that they wanted to rape me and burn down my house!”

She includes a few video clips that she had filmed while she was safely inside her house. One of the thieves kept threatening her and scolded her when she confronted them for stealing. He even used foul language and vulgar gestures as if he did no wrong. Seriously though, WTF!

She mentions in the video that she was alone at home so she did not dare to venture outside to do anything to them and can only record the videos as proof. Not content with threatening her, the thief even takes some of the stolen mangoes and throws them in her direction, hence littering her compound with various broken fruit before fleeing on a motorbike.

One of them, clad in a blue t-shirt and red cap, taunts her and asks her to call the police as he is not scared because he “knows somebody in the police department.” He even says that the tree is his and she shouldn’t be so busybody to stop him from stealing the mangoes.

However, it seems that those thieves will get their punishment because the netizen says that she has made a police report and the police have caught the two criminals. She ends her post by warning other residents to be careful and that she will be going to the police station to identify the two suspects.

Hopefully they will learn their lesson and receive the suitable punishment!
