Many were shocked upon discovering that the acting President of the Kuala Lumpur Football Association (KLFA) had a pistol holstered to his belt during a press conference at the Cheras Stadium on Tuesday (August 27).

Netizen, Zulfikri khari, took to his Twitter page to share footage of the KLFA acting President, Abdullah Sani Abdul Hamid (who is also the former MP for both Kuala Langat and Kapar), as his holstered pistol becomes visible when he got up from the table at the press conference.

Zulfikri Khari wrote, “What is this? (Why is he) carrying a pistol at the Cheras Stadium?”

In the video showcased, Abdullah Sani’s pistol, which is holstered to his belt, comes into view when he gets up from the press conference table and moves his jacket aside to take his phone out of his pocket. His colleague then quickly adjusted his jacket to hide the pistol.

Well, Abdullah Sani, himself, was quick to answer that question.

Abdullah Sani responded to the post by clarifying that he has a permit and cannot go anywhere without his pistol.

“As a firearms license holder since 2012 and as someone who owns a firearm, the firearm cannot just be left anywhere and must always be in my custody. So, it’s not just at the stadium, I take it everywhere I go,” he wrote.
