The influence of drugs may allegedly be the reason a foreign man went on a rampage before attempting to jump from the 10th floor of the Sri Perak flats in Bandar Baru Sentul, Kuala Lumpur, yesterday (March 17).
According to a report by Kosmo, the Sentul District Police Chief, Assistant Commissioner Ahmad Sukarno Mohd. Zahari shared that his department received a report about the incident at around 5:12pm.

“Investigations found that a 27-year-old man from India, who was outside the window of a (flat) unit in a state of rampage, was believed to be under the influence of drugs,”
“The individual threatened to jump from the building while breaking the windows of the unit,” he said.

Thankfully, the man was successfully rescued by the authorities.
The incident, which was caught on camera, has since gone viral online.

The video showed a shirtless man standing on the ledge of the 10th-floor flat unit while breaking the glass panes of the unit’s windows, causing shards of glass to fall to the ground below.
