A taste of the future? Sounds tempting…
Coca-Cola recently introduced a new flavour co-created with artificial intelligence called the “Coca-Cola Y3000”. “Y3000” refers to the year 3000 AD, meaning that it is a taste of Coca-Cola in the future.
According to a Coca-Cola representative as reported by CNBC, the representative said that in order to understand consumers’ imagination of the future taste of Coca-Cola, researchers analysed customers’ main taste preferences and trends, and then handed over the data to Al to assist in the formulation.
The formula, flavour and characteristics of the new product were eventually developed to create “Coca-Cola Y3000”.
Coca-Cola Y3000 is available now in Malaysia, at all 7-Eleven stores and at Coca-Cola’s official store on Shopee. As stated in the reviews by customers and online, this futuristic flavour tastes like traditional Cola mixed with berries fruit punch.
