When the limited edition Hello Kitty Carrier from McDonald’s was announced in Singapore, Malaysians can’t help but feel a little envious. However, once the carrier finally landed on our shores on November 27th, Malaysians rushed to get their hands on it and long queues were formed.

Since they only had limited quantities of the item, people were hurrying to the stores to buy it before stocks ran out.
It was launched at 10am but there were already excited customers queuing from 7am as they really wanted the carrier.
This carrier is supposed to be for your McDonald’s fries and drinks and can be carried like a bag or placed behind your car headrest.
This adorable carrier costs only RM29.99 with any purchase of a McValue meal in a single transaction at any McDonald’s restaurants. BUT, scalpers took this opportunity to buy these items in hopes to sell them and a crazy price! And yes, everybody hates these scalpers. If you think RM3,000 was not crazy enough…
PS: We don’t want to link to these scalpers
Someone actually is selling it for RM5,000! Yes, and more people are also selling it for RM3,000!
It has been reported that many restaurants all over Malaysia have sold out of this carrier in just one day, so naturally, scalpers were quick to offer their wares on online shops.
Sigh, this is why we can’t have nice things. Pity the fans who couldn’t buy their beloved Hello Kitty because of these people. Isn’t it time these scalpers were seriously stopped?
