Recently, it was reported that 44.68% of Malaysians are single, making our country the 3rd highest in Southeast Asia for having the largest population of single people. And while most single people choose to remain without a partner for empowering reasons, many would still end up feeling lonely when they least expect it.

So, maybe this new service can help alleviate this lonely feelings, especially when you’re lying down in your bed, alone at night.

A TikTok page called ‘Embunn‘ has surfaced mid last month, offering lonely people the service of a companion through the phone to keep them company at night, before they fall asleep.

Call 1

They wrote, “Feeling lonely? You have me.”

A companion through the phone for those late night hours!

Embunn offers phone calls for RM5 for an hour and RM10 for 2 to 3 hours, where you can rant, complain an cry to the person on the phone without the fear of being judged. They mentioned that people who need someone to talk to until they fall asleep is also very much welcomed to try their services.

Should you not like to talk on the phone, you can opt for their messaging service for RM5 for 12 hours and RM10 for a day.

Chat 2

They also offer a virtual lover experience for RM15 a day (which includes unlimited calls and messages, voice notes and wishes), where callers can feel like they have someone who loves and cares for them without having to actually commit to a relationship.

“Want to feel like someone loves and cares for you, but don’t want to be tied down by real life commitments? Try this (service).”

Want someone to play games with, Embunn will also do that for RM5 an hour.

Embunn has emphasised that the privacy of their customers are 100% guaranteed.

Would you give this service a try? Do feel free to share your thoughts in the comment section.
