Selangor’s Faisal Halim endured a particularly difficult period at the start of last season before finally making his comeback yesterday with a hat-trick in Selangor’s trumping of bottom dwellers Kelantan Darul Naim.

Ending his 447-day slump, a drought he endured at the beginning of his near career-ending incident, he showed what it means to get back up by completing his hat-trick in this video.

Taking place at the Petaling Jaya City Council Stadium, the match ended 7-1, thanks to Faisal Halim’s contribution to the match.

In another video, Faisal Halim shared a message thanking everyone who became a part of his journey.

“I would like to thank Selangor fans. This hat-trick is for you, the fans, Selangor.”

Netizens took to the comments section to praise and commend his efforts in bouncing back after such a life-changing, horrible event.

“Welcome back FH7!”

“This is a comeback match for you. Finally you get to your scoring ways,” said a user.

We sincerely hope that Faisal Halim will continue his rising trajectory for both Selangor and Harimau Malaya.
