Earlier, Prime Minister Dato’ Seri Anwar Ibrahim hinted at good news for Malaysians, sparking curiosity and speculation.
Tax exemptions? Financial aid? Another increase in the minimum wage? No one knows for sure. But PMX recently teased that Malaysians won’t have to wait long for the surprising announcement, which he described as “an extraordinary appreciation.”
“If not Monday, then Tuesday. Give us two to three days to polish the plan,” he said.

According to PMX, the Ministry of Finance is currently refining proposals that can be announced immediately, aimed at easing the people’s burden.
He added that the ministry is also exploring the best approach to balance rising living costs with the country’s fiscal capacity—especially considering that existing aid expenditures, such as the Sympathetic Cash Contribution (STR) and civil servant salary increases, have already reached billions of ringgit.
On July 14, the Prime Minister offered a glimpse of the announcement in a Facebook post, uploading a poster titled “AKAN DATANG” with the message: “An Extraordinary Appreciation for the Malaysian People. With Malaysiaku”, reported BERNAMA.

The post was also shared on Anwar Ibrahim’s official Facebook page with a simple caption:
“Wait for it.”
What do you think the surprise, big news, is?
