Do you still recall your childhood crush? We’ve all experienced those innocent moments of exchanging love letters and sharing lunches in school. We had some really memorable moments.
In a recent Facebook post by user KhairulLezran MatKhir, he shared a story about a 12-year-old girl who unexpectedly developed feelings for someone.
A local English teacher from Kelantan encountered an unexpected situation when he received a series of confessional messages from one of his female students on WhatsApp.
During the conversation, the teacher politely informed the student that he had relocated over the school holidays. The accompanying text read,
“I’m sorry for not informing you and the others earlier. I plan to visit all of you at school when I find the time. I hope you and your friends find success in life, and that each of you gets the chance to study in a good school in the future.”
Unfortunately, the student did not take the news well. She expressed her disappointment in the teacher’s decision to move away, going as far as asking the teacher to stay.
She seized the moment to express her feelings, informing him about her crush and mentioning that she would be unwilling to attend school if he were no longer the teacher.
This adorable and funny situation has attracted a lot of online attention, leading netizens to quickly fill the comment section with their thoughts.
“I recall the times when girls used to develop crushes on their teachers, even going so far as to write them love letters.”
“Nowadays, teachers are quite good-looking. In the ’90s, they didn’t have that charm. Climbing stairs used to take them around 15 minutes, and some would even doze off while students were taking notes in class.”
“Nowadays, teachers are quite good looking. Back in the day, male teachers resembled the Undertaker, and let’s not even talk about the female teachers. But the Science teachers were still decent.”
