The head of an elderly man, who was reported missing and believed to have been attacked by a crocodile in a river near his home in Lawas, Sarawak, was found last night (10 September). He is said to have been eaten by a crocodile while bathing at a river jetty near his home.
According to a report by Kosmo!, a spokesperson for the Sarawak Fire and Rescue Operations Centre shared that the head of the 80-year-old victim was found by villagers at about 11:20 PM.

“Villagers found the victim’s head 500 metres from the location in which the victim had reportedly gone missing,” they explained, adding that after receiving confirmation by family members, the victim’s head was handed over to the police for further action.
Considering the victim’s body has yet to be recovered, a search operation continued today (11 September) at 8:30 AM, focusing on the location where the victim’s head was found.
