Loving durian is just part of being Malaysian. It’s undeniable that most of us have developed a fondness for the unique fruit, cats included!
In a recent amusing video shared by @mjkenali, his newest cat addition to the family has developed a taste for durian and seems to love it!
Durian over cat food!
Speaking to WORLD OF BUZZ, Mjkenali revealed that his kitten Koben used to be a stray before he took him in. Over time, he noticed that Koben developed a fondness for durian.
He went on to share that Koben does eat normal cat food and given the choice, would always prefer durian over anything else.

Mjkenali mentioned that every time, without fail, when he eats durian, Koben always runs over and climbs onto him to get a taste.
“I’ve taken in a lot of stray cats, but so far, Koben is the oddest. I call him Koben, aka Cik Durian. I found him behind a workshop where I think his original owner left him.”
He also noted that while his other cats weren’t fans of the fruit, but Koben instantly went crazy over durian the first time it tried it.
