When in panic circumstances, we tend to lose control of how we react to situations. Just recently, the video of a driver hitting multiple cars in Klang has gone viral on social media.

According to an official statement by PDRM in Klang, the incident took place on Wednesday (February 28) around 7:30 pm at the parking lot along Jalan Padang towards Jalan Bukit Kapar 1 near Klang, Selangor. Let’s just say, that panic caused the accident.

Police said the driver was exiting her parking spot at the roadside when she accidentally hit a car in front of her, which caused her to panic.

“The driver then reversed her car under a panic condition and hit 2 other vehicles which were also parked at the roadside.”

Fortunately, no injuries were reported and all parties involved lodged a police report immediately after the incident.

PDRM stated that the matter is currently being investigated under Section 43(1) Road Transportation Act 1987, and witnesses are highly encouraged to come forward to provide relevant information.

“The public is advised to follow the rules and drive safe,” Vijaya Rao, the Chief Police of North Klang reminded.

We’re glad that no injuries or death happened. Sometimes, unforeseen circumstances happen and the best way to handle it is to lodge a police report for everyone’s safety.
