UMNO Youth Chief, Dr. Akmal Saleh recently voiced out against Teresa Kok over the Halal certificate matter and told her to keep quiet if she knows nothing about the subject.
Dr. Akmal also posted another response on his Instagram to DAP’s Dr. Kelvin Yii, who said Akmal was rude to “tell the government to stick a non-halal sticker on Teresa’s forehead.”

As of today (September 10), Akmal’s response has been removed by Instagram.
What did Akmal say in his Instagram response?
The post may be gone on Instagram and Facebook but Akmal’s response was still available on his TikTok page.
Kelvin labelled Akmal’s response towards Teresa as “sexist, misogynist and downright rude”, and said that Akmal’s act should be reprimanded because it set a bad example.
Akmal then reminded Kelvin that it was Teresa who started the Halal certificate issue first.

“You should teach your leader about manners and may I remind you, don’t poke the hornet’s nest,” Akmal told Kelvin.
Akmal also reminded Kelvin not to interfere with religious and cultural matters that have nothing to do with him.
“If you treat us good, we’ll treat you 10 times better. If not, you’ll know what it really means to be rude,” Akmal warned.
“You can’t remove our voices and spirit”
In his Facebook post last night (September 9), Akmal demanded an explanation from Minister of Communications, Fahmi Fadzil, regarding the removal of his response post for Kelvin on Instagram.
Akmal himself had no idea why his post was removed but despite the absence of the post, the UMNO Youth Chief said the people’s voices can never be removed.

“I don’t know why are they so afraid of that statement. You can remove the statement from our social media, but not our voices and spirit.”
At the time of writing, Fahmi Fadzil and the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (SKMM) have yet to respond to the matter.
