A Malaysian man was clearly down on his luck after being issued two separate summonses in a single day.
He was first booked in the morning by the Ministry of Health (MOH) at an eatery, believed to be for smoking, before being stopped in the evening by the Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM) for a traffic offence.

Double trouble
Social media user, kamaghul deghaman, took to X to share a video recorded by the man’s friends, who were seen poking fun at him for the double misfortune.
The caption read:
“This brother truly has no luck. He was summoned by the MOH in the morning, and then summoned by the PDRM in the evening.”

In the footage, the man is seen speaking to MOH enforcement officers as they write out his summons at the eatery. The video then transitions to the man getting out of his car to speak to a PDRM officer regarding his traffic offence.
Malaysians share their two cents on the man’s ‘misfortune’
The incident has left netizens divided. While some felt sorry for the man, others argued he received exactly what he deserved for flouting the law.

“It’s normal; the money we receive is sometimes destined to go elsewhere.”

“If it happened twice, then it’s not about luck; he’s just the type who is foolish and has no regard for the law. He’s posing as a rebel.”

“This isn’t about being unlucky. This is about being too lazy to follow the rules. If you play the fool, there are consequences.”
