The government is offering a discount on repayment of the National Higher Education Fund Corporation (PTPTN) from 1 November this year until 30 April 2023.

This initiative aims to facilitate repayment and foster responsibility among PTPTN borrowers.

Here’s how the discount rates work.

  • A 20% discount on the remaining debt for full settlement of the loan.
  • A 15% discount for payment of at least 50% of the remaining debt in one payment.
  • A 15% discount for salary deductions or scheduled direct debits.

If you are one of the PTPTN borrowers, do take note of the payment methods and the discount rates. Stay tuned for more updates!
