It’s no secret that the differently-abled in Malaysia have to work so much harder than everyone else in order to make a living for themselves.

And even then, some among the differently-abled community struggle more than others.

The @fs08915 TikTok page, that showcases small business owners, recently shared a video of a differently-abled Malaysian man who can only push his wheelchair in reverse with 1 leg while he goes around selling cakes, and even then, he is in high spirits.

They wrote, “Allah will not change the fate of a person, unless the person changes it themselves.”

In the video, the differently-abled man could be seen pushing his wheelchair with his leg, which causes him to move backwards instead of forwards as he sells his cakes.

When the @fs08915 team approached and asked the man why he was travelling in such a way, the man explained that he only has one functioning hand, which he uses to hold his basket full of cakes.

Hence, he is unable to maneuver his wheelchair with his functioning hand and instead uses his one functioning leg to push himself backwards to move around.

Can you imagine the difficulties of running a small business while only being able to move backwards?

“If a car comes and hits me, then just die lah,” the man joked.

After having a conversation with the differently-abled man, the @fs08915 team purchased some of his cakes and left the man with RM700 as they showcased in another video. So nice of them!

Should you wish to purchase cakes from the differently-abled man, he can be found going around Melawati, Selangor, on Tuesdays to Sundays.
