It’s surprising how many people enjoy torturing poor, helpless animals, especially in Malaysia where there has been a recent spike of animal abuse cases.

Zebra doves are sold widely at pet stores all over the country, but have you ever wondered what happens to them when abusers buy and take them home?

The Malaysia Animal Association took to their Facebook page to showcase a man cruelly tearing off a zebra dove’s feathers after it had refused to sing for him.

They wrote, “Another case of cruelty against birds. Because it wouldn’t make a sound. Its wings were removed without mercy.”

“Every day, the Malaysia Animal Association receives a lot of criminal cases of animal cruelty that go unexposed and unreported. Based on the man’s speech in the video, his accent is from southern Perak. Anybody with information on this man’s cruel actions against the bird can contact us on WhatsApp at +601120901097,” they added.

Birds are not lifeless toys for humans to torture when they don’t sing or act the way they want them to. We genuinely hope that the authorities catch this cruel man before he can harm any more innocent birds.

What do you think about this? Let us know in the comment section.
