The video of a crane collapsing at a construction site in Sentul caught the eye of the public as the incident caused severe damage to vehicles parked nearby the construction site as well as properties surrounding the area.
Shared by Facebook page Sukan Star TV – sstv.my, the collapsed crane can be seen blocking traffic at Bandar Baru Sentul. Though no deaths were reported, the individual recording the video mentioned that at least one person was injured as a result of the incident.

Reporting on the incident, BH Online mentions that it was not one, but four individuals including a three-month-old baby were injured as a result of the collapse.
The crane also reportedly collapsed on three properties in the area along with two cars.
A potential headache for safety officers at the site, netizens who viewed the video screamed for blood as they began piling on the hurt in the comments section of the video.

One netizen commented, “This will surely be a headache for safety officers. My guess is the car owners will file for a lawsuit to replace their damaged vehicles.”
Thus far, all victims have been sent to HKL for further treatment and that the cause of the incident is still under investigation.
We sincerely hope that incidences like this will not repeat itself in the future as most construction nowadays take place nearby very congested areas and housing areas.
