On 21 September, we were informed that a UMNO supreme council member has tested positive for Covid-19.

As he is now under a microscope, people are looking into his social media profiles to look at all the things that he was up to prior to testing positive.

Netizens with fast hands managed to capture one of his posts on Instagram which the UMNO member has now taken down.

In the pictures, we can see that he was evidently not wearing a mask when he was at the tamu (weekly market) in Sipitang, talking to the vendors.

At that time, he was with the BN candidate who is contesting for that area, Sani Miasin.

Netizens commented that he even got the name of the area wrong as it’s supposed to be Sipitang and not Sepitang.

Other netizens commented that just because of him, the Sipitang District Council has issued out a statement asking for all stalls and night markets to be closed down with immediate effect.
