This is why we can’t be complacent about the pandemic!
Health Director-General, Tan Sri Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah took to Facebook today (7 September) to share the most recent update concerning the Covid-19 situation in Malaysia.
According to the post, a whopping total of 62 new positive cases were recorded today, bringing the current total of active cases to 207 at the time of writing. 56 of these active cases are local while six of them are imported. The cumulative total of cases recorded in the country currently stands at 9,459 cases.
Majority of the positive cases are from a Cluster Benteng LD in Sabah, as said by the Ministry of Health’s Twitter account. A new cluster known as Cluster Sungai has also emerged in Kedah.
Terkini: 7 Sept. Kes baharu #COVID19 hari ini melonjak kepada 62 kes iaitu 56 kes tempatan dan 6 import. Sebahagian besar melibatkan Kluster Benteng di Sabah dengan 50 kes. Satu lagi kluster baharu di Kedah, Kluster Sungai. Tiada kematian baharu dilaporkan.

As of now, no deaths have been recorded today. However, six patients are currently in the ICU. Nine patients have been discharged from the hospital which raises the total number of discharged cases to 9,124.
Meanwhile, governing authorities have barred 23 countries from entering Malaysia.
