Coldplay’s show on Wednesday (November 22) was a BLAST despite the rainy weather and the calls to cancel the show. It was only the band’s 1st show in Malaysia but they have already created history here in terms of MASSIVE attendance (and not just for a great show).
According to an X post by Pop Crave, as of November 23, 2023, Coldplay’s World Tour – Music of the Spheres is officially the ALL-TIME highest-attended concert in Stadium Bukit Jalil, KL, with a massive crowd of 75,000 concertgoers!
It has broken a 19-year record which was previously held by local veteran singer, Dato’ Siti Nurhaliza during her Fantasia Tour back in 2004 which attracted around 70,000 fans.
The 3rd most attended show at the same location AR Rahman’s Secret of Success earlier this year, which gathered a whopping 67,000 fans. Blackpink’s Born Pink in 2022 comes in 4th, with a number of 62,000 fans being “in the area.”
Hong Kong veteran singer, Jacky Cheung and English rock band Muse took the 5th and 6th spot, respectively for the most-attended show in Stadium Bukit Jalil. You can refer to the tweet below and identify the performers that made it into the list.

Some performers who held a show elsewhere but not in Malaysia, such as Taylor Swift could’ve made it into the list given her worldwide popularity and recognition.
To those who were part of the 75,000 attendants, did you enjoy Coldplay’s show under the falling rain? Do you want more of them?
