A cute video posted on TikTok recently is warming the hearts of netizens as it shows the close bond between two multiracial neighbours in Malaysia.
Shared by makeup artist @shadesbyyogesh, the video has gone viral, garnering over 355,000 views and more than 23,300 in just over 24 hours.
The video shows one of @shadesbyyogesh’s clients, an Indian woman who was at her Malay neighbour’s house to get ready for her engagement ceremony.
The close bond between the two can be seen in the way they both talked to each other, which is more akin to brothers and sisters rather than just neighbours.
They both spied on the woman’s soon-to-be fiancé through the window, with the man saying that the fiancé is really handsome like Tamil cinema legend Rajinikanth.
In the video, @shadesbyyogesh wrote a text overlay saying that the conversation between the two is really cute, akin to brothers and sisters.
She added that the two neighbours are really close and that there are no dividers between their two houses. @shadesbyyogesh asserted,

In the video’s comments section, netizens express how lucky both are to get a close friend and neighbour such as this, with many also sharing their heartwarming experiences with multiracial neighbours.
One commenter, who is Malay, shared that his Indian neighbour and himself are like brothers. Should any one of them has no rice, they’d go to the other’s house with a bowl to get some.
Besides that, one commenter asserted that they love this type of neighbour as they are rare these days and those who have such a neighbour are lucky and blessed.
Meanwhile, another commenter said that such closeness between neighbours is common in rural areas but sadly not in big cities as in the latter, people mostly just do their own things.
