Imagine falling 6 storeys, you can definitely expect some broken bones if not loss of life, right? Well, not for this cat.

A chubby, 8.5kg cat in Thailand survived falling 6 storeys, landed through a car’s rear windscreen and came out unscathed as it didn’t even break a bone!

The vehicle owner, Apiwat Toyothaka, took to his Facebook page to share how he had discovered the cat in his car after the incident took place on May 27 (Saturday) at 7am.

“I’m confused, how did it fall through the car? They said that this 8.5kg cat fell from the 6th floor and broke the back windscreen,” he wrote.

The Nation shared that Apiwat, who also owns a cat, could not feel angry upon seeing how afraid the poor kitty was.

Cat 1

The cat, named Shifu after Kung Fu Panda’s Master Shifu, had jumped out through the hole it created and hid under the car.

Security camera footage allegedly caught Shifu hanging from a balcony on the 6th floor before it fell, slightly hitting a balcony on the third floor before smashing through Apiwat’s car rear windscreen.

Apiwat later revealed that the cat only lost 2 claws and suffered no other injuries from its fall!

Cat 3

Shifu’s owner, though, was fined 1,000 baht (RM133) as the condominium the cat fell from did not allow pets. They have since vowed to move Shifu into a relative’s home.

We genuinely hope that the owner at least offers to pay for the damages to Apiwat’s car, and that the poor kitty heals from whatever trauma it developed from this ordeal.
