Love knows no bounds.
We all should be so lucky to find the one that would walk through fire, or to be less dramatic, to walk through the hurdles of life with us. To find the person that wakes up next to us everyday, with our bed-look and morning breath and still chooses to be with us.
HSW reports on a wife in Shaanxi who divorced her paralyzed husband, remarries his friend to take care of him together.
Hold on! Before making any passing judgement, what she did is actually more noble than selfish.
Husband (now ex), Xu Xihan was involved in a mining accident back in 2002, and have come out paralyzed. His then-wife, Xie Xiping has taken care of him ever since.
Xu shares with us how after the accident, neighbors and others around have predicted that Xie would leave him within 3 months. But despite the rumors, Xie stayed loyal, and was by his side through it all with their son and daughter.
Wanting Xie to be happy, Xu successfully convinced her to divorce him and marry his friend and colleague, Liu Zongkui in 2009. It takes a very big heart to share/give away the person you love most.
In 2012, Liu and Xie both welcomed a newborn son. With the new addition, the family of 6 now live together in a rather interesting way. Besides taking care of Xie and her kids, Liu, the new husband also helps take care of Xu. Now that’s noble.
Anddddd honestly a little weird.
Some might say it is hard to watch your wife remarry, and even harder having to live together with the new husband, but that is not how Xu feels about the situation. Xu says, “if you do not leave me, I will be with you until the end”.
Many might not understand and would probably not have done what Xie did. I mean, the love triangle is kinda weird. However, as long they are happy in each other’s company, what ever goes right? Sides, they look like they are currently living very harmoniously.
