Malaysia is full of kind and smart people, who are ever ready to help those who need it.

An example of this is a Malaysian woman, who not only assisted a tourist with directions in the tourist’s mother tongue but also gave the tourist money to buy themselves something to eat.

The tourist from China took to XiaoHongShu to gush over the Malaysian woman, while sharing her kind deeds during her transit in Kuala Lumpur.

rm20 1

She wrote, “Thank you to the kind Malay sister who gave me RM20 at the airport.”

“I was transiting in Kuala Lumpur when I got off the plane and met this sister. She could speak Chinese and Malay, she kept enthusiastically telling me all kinds of things. Later, before she took a taxi and left, she gave me RM20 and asked me to buy some snacks for myself. Thank you, I finally bought a drink with the RM20.”

In the comments of her post, the tourist further explained that she had asked the woman for directions at the airport, which prompted the Malaysian woman to direct her in Chinese.

rm20 2

The tourist then asked if the airport eateries accepted Alipay, as she did not have Malaysian currency on her. The Malaysian woman then gave her RM20 so that she could get herself something to eat while waiting for her next flight.

That’s so nice of the Malaysian woman!

We genuinely hope that the tourist keeps the act of kindness going by passing on the kindness to another stranger.
