Recently, a heart breaking video of a father crying over his son’s dead body has gone viral on social media. The incident was reported to have taken place in Liaoning Province in China.

According to SETN, it was understood that the father was angry with his son because of his addiction to his smartphone.

To teach him a lesson, the father snatched the teenager’s phone away and hurled it out the window. He thought that would serve as a punishment and a wake-up call for his teenage son. But sadly, tragedy unfolded instead.

Shockingly, the teenager jumped out the window presumably to catch his smartphone. As such, the teenager who was still in secondary school fell to his death on the ground floor of the building.

In the video, the father knelt in front of his son’s dead body while crying his heart out.

He was heard screaming:

“You are so foolish, son!”

Despite being consoled by some on-lookers, the father still couldn’t contain himself as his beloved son laid in front of him lifeless. He hugged his son’s body and wouldn’t let go.

After the video went viral on social media, many netizens were saddened by the incident and poured in their thoughts.

“The teen is using his parent’s love to punish them,” a netizen commented.

“He (teen) got away by jumping to death, but how about his parents? How are they going to live for the rest of their lives?” another netizen wrote.

Some netizens have also pointed out that the incident could have been avoided if the father was patient with his rebellious son.

Although the authority is still investigating the reason behind the teenager’s action, but one thing for sure is that the father will unfortunately never forgive himself for the rest of his life.

Here’s the video.
