A Malaysian food delivery and e-hailing driver is warning others working in the same industry to avoid taking orders from a particular address in Tabuan Laru, Kuching, Sarawak, after it was discovered that cash-on-delivery orders to that address were being done maliciously by a man allegedly attempting to harass a woman living there.
Tracy Law took to her Facebook page to share how she had taken an order to that address, only to discover the plot to harass the woman who allegedly refused to marry the man making the orders.

There was a ‘do not honk’ note on the recipient’s gate
She wrote, “I went online (at around 10pm) to take orders as usual after getting off work. An order popped up after about 5 minutes. I picked up the food and delivered it to the designated location. When I arrived, I saw a ‘do not honk‘ note on the gate of the house, but I did not see any warnings about malicious orders written on it.”
She then used the food delivery application to inform that she had arrived with the order, to which the person who made the order told her to honk.
“I sent him a photo of the ‘do not honk‘ note outside the house, to which he responded, “you can honk“.”

However, she felt that something was off when she noticed that the man’s phone number was from China.
Due to how late it was, she ultimately decided not to honk and tried looking for a doorbell.
That’s when she was approached by a passing e-hailing driver, who revealed to her that they had taken an e-hailing ride order from the same house the day before and was told that a scammer was using different accounts to send e-hailing rides and food deliveries to this address.
While talking, ANOTHER food delivery rider arrived at the house.
Tracy, the e-hailing driver, and the other food delivery rider all decided to make reports about this incident via their respective platforms.
A neighbour revealed the truth

Upon seeing the riders and driver gathering outside the house, a neighbour shared how a man from China had proposed to the girl who lived at the address, but she rejected him.
“A result of that is suspected to be this long-term malicious revenge. From last year until now, there have been drivers coming to her door every day, from morning until 2am,” she explained.
The solution
Tracy has filed a police report in regards to this incident and has urged food delivery riders and e-hailing drivers to avoid taking orders from not only the girl’s address but also any house on the same street, Tabuan Laru Lorong 2.
