Just one day after pleading not guilty to sexually assaulting a 13-year-old girl, Malaysian influencer “CEO Batu” faced another charge in court today (July 11).
This time, the 22-year-old internet celebrity was charged with possessing pornographic materials (pictures and videos) in his mobile phone.
CEO Batu, whose name is Muhammad Iqbal, smiled and waved at the media after arriving at the Selayang Magistrate Court this morning. Once again, Iqbal pleaded not guilty to possessing obscene materials in his phone gallery.

The offence was committed at the office of the investigating officer of the Gombak District Criminal Investigation Division here at 11.39 AM on May 22, reported Kosmo.
Iqbal was charged under Section 292(a) of the Penal Code, which carries a maximum sentence of three years’ imprisonment or a fine, or both.
Earlier, Deputy Public Prosecutor Birr Zamier Abu Bakar proposed bail of RM6,000 for the accused with one surety. However, lawyer Nabil Ashraff Ridzuan appealed for a lower bail as his client has lost his source of income as a content creator since his case was ongoing.
