Patrons of an eatery at Upper Bukit Timah, Singapore had the shock of their lives recently after a ceiling panel top suddenly fell to the floor while they were dining.
Not only that, but one of the patrons afterwards spotted the cause of the fallen ceiling panel: A python!
Shared by Raven Qiu on the Complain Singapore Facebook page, the incident happened on the morning of Saturday (9 December) at a Toast Box outlet in Rail Mall.
Qiu shared a couple of photos from the incident, including an image of the hole in the ceiling as a result of the dropped panel and the body of the python which was slithering through the ceiling.
Qiu further asserted that nobody was hurt as a result of the dropped panel and that everyone in the seating area below the panel moved aside.
As for the python, Qiu said she doesn’t know how the reptile got up there but as a result of the incident, the eatery was temporarily closed.
The authorities then came to the eatery and told patrons to leave as they waited for a backup professional snake catcher to arrive at the scene.
