This is not an advertisement but a real-life incident that took place in Kampung Derang, Kedah during the flood, where a driver of a Perodua Bezza was spotted driving through the flood almost effortlessly.
And she made it out of the floodwater with her car still working!
In a viral TikTok video @ml_farizal, the lower half of the Bezza was submerged in floodwater but that didn’t stop the driver from bracing through the disaster. The driver carefully (and confidently) drove through the floodwater until her car “resurfaced again”. Meanwhile, the other drivers who were stuck on the other side simply watched as she drove away.
Late last year, drivers of a Perodua Myvi and Axia were also spotted driving through floodwaters in Shah Alam, like champs. Previously, we also shared why Perodua Myvi is one of the ideal vehicles to brace through floodwaters with.
To make it short, the height of the air intake system in Perodua vehicles plays a role. Axia, for instance, can go through a flood that is as deep as 2.5 feet.
Is this a dethroning fight between Bezza and Myvi, not just in terms of sales but also the title of “King of the Road”?
Social media users were amused to see the driver bracing through the floodwater as if it was nothing, and many predicted the sales market for Perodua Bezza to increase after this video went viral.
“Bezza can now fight Myvi King!”
“Perfect conditions, can go through floodwater, and can drive to work.”
“The market for Bezza is going up after this.”
“Bezza is going to run out of stock after this.”
“Bezza is indeed berbeza (different). You go girl!”
“I drive a Bezza too but I’m not going to do that. I love my car and it wasn’t easy for me to get it.”
