A video is currently going viral online, showing a burger stall on top of a flatbed tow truck falling onto a motorcyclist and a car waiting at a junction in Kamunting, Perak.
The UpdateInfo X page shared the video while questioning whether the tow truck driver had tied down the burger stall before transporting it.

They wrote, “Did you not tie the stall down? For no reason, the lives of others are at stake.”
In the video, the truck is seen turning at a junction where a red car and a motorcyclist were stopped. Upon turning into the junction, the burger stall toppled onto the car and the motorcyclist.

According to a statement by the Taiping District Police, the driver of the car was not injured in the incident. However, the motorcyclist suffered minor injuries to his forehead, neck, hands, and legs. The victim, reportedly a firefighter, received treatment at the Taiping Hospital.
This case is currently being investigated under Rule 92 of the Road Traffic Rules 1959 (LN 170/59) for offences related to carrying loads or items on a vehicle, often involving improperly secured goods.
“Illegal turn on a one-way street?”
While many called out the tow truck driver for not tying the burger stall down properly, some eagle-eyed netizens were also quick to point out that the junction the tow truck had turned into is a one-way street.

“Whatever items you want to tow, tie them down lah.”

“Alhamdulillah, the motorcyclist has a long life. I hope strict action is taken against the truck driver and the tow truck company involved.”

“Isn’t the lorry turning into a one-way street? In front of The Store?”

“Whatever it is, the truck driver is definitely at fault for turning onto a one-way road.”
