Although some of us might have denied it, there is a small voice inside our hearts that have declared the love for bubble tea or boba.
Our obsession with the sweet concoction only seems to grow stronger as time goes by, so it’s not a surprise that some of us would include it on our wedding day.
That was Shirley Hellos’ dream — to have a beautiful wedding with the man she loves and have bubble tea served to sweeten her day. Well for Shirley, she made that dream a reality.
She shared pictures of her wedding day and highlighted that she was extra happy having had Chatime served at the event. She wrote,
“Don’t let your dreams just be dreams. Especially on your big day. I got married on May 18, 2019 and we made the bubble tea wedding dream come true.”
She elaborated that, in order to maintain the freshness of the boba, they asked the local Chatime to be at her wedding to cater to the guests. She revealed that the drink was an immediate hit among those who attended the ceremony.
“Instead of soggy warm boba (like the photos you’ve seen that don’t have any ice and have been pre-made hours before serving) we asked the local Chatime to do live catering during our cocktail hour so they had each drink freshly made! Even the manager served our guests and it was an insane hit! ?”
It goes without saying that this post instantly went viral, garnering over 18k reactions. Many went to the comments section to tag their friends as well, saying that they want to do the same for their wedding day!
“Hey, do this for your wedding,” one commentor wrote while tagging her friend.
“I can see this happening for my future wedding!” another one wrote.
So, would you consider having bubble tea served at your wedding? With so many bubble tea brands around in Malaysia, the only thing you need to do is decide which to go for and surely they would be able to meet your requests.
Make your day with bae just a little sweeter.
