Just this morning, Perak DAP said Barisan Nasional (BN) and Pakatan Harapan (PH) have agreed to form a unity government in the state. Both coalitions have secured 33 majority state seats after GE15, reported New Straits Times.
Barisan Nasional won only 30 seats during GE15. Despite its defeat, many of BN’s members of parliament still refused to ally with Pakatan Harapan, and one of them who cannot stress it enough is Hishammuddin Hussein, the former Minister of Defense.
In his Facebook post this morning (November 21), Hishammuddin reiterated and stood firm with his decision – he will never work with PH.
What if he gets fired for his refusal to work with PH?
Hishamuddin made it clear that even if it costs him his job, he will still stand firm with his decision.
“I’d rather be sacked by the party. I will never change my stand. No Anwar, No DAP,” he emphasised.
At the end of his post, Hishamuddin sent a message to anyone who has the desire to sack him from the party.
“Anyone who feels like sacking me from the party for holding to my principle, then do it.”
Just last night, Anwar Ibrahim revealed that he has secured enough seats to form a federal government, but will only reveal the other parties officially when the time comes. So stay tuned for more updates!
